Black Pearl Seychelles
Our jewellery

The "Pearl Gallery" and workshop is located at Amitie, Praslin, where our customers are able to purchase either individual pearls or pearls set in 18 ct. gold hand crafted designs. Rings, earrings and pendants are available in addition to our hand knotted silk pearl strands. All our pearls are strung on silk thread with a knot separating each pearl. This not only keeps the pearls from rubbing against one another, but if the string should break, only one pearl should come loose. Sometimes pearl thread may become dirty or may stretch or otherwise weaken. Pearls should therefore be professionally restrung regularly. We offer our clients professional in-house restringing of their strands. Our 18 ct. jewellery is designed and handcrafted in Western Australia by the international award winning jewellers, Linneys of Perth and Broome.
Black pearls are not necessarily black. Although our pearls most commonly range from light silver to dark gray, we also less frequnetly discover green, pink, lavender, blue, copper, bronze or golden pearls. Pearls come in many shapes, they can be round, near-round, oval, drop, button, baroque or be seedless, called keshi. All our pearls are from the black-lip oyster, Pinctada Margaritifera, and thus completely natural in colour and not the result of any dyeing processes.
